My husband and I worked with Van Dee on 3 occasions; 2 purchases and one sale. Her knowledge of the area was priceless as we moved here from out of state. She got to know our differing tastes and found homes that appealed to both of us. When it came to selling, she went above and beyond to get our house sold. After the closings, she has been a wealth of information and always comes through. I can’t recommend her enough!

Van-Dee and Welcome Home Realty were excellent to work with. Van-Dee was right on top of things and responded quickly to any concerns we had. Even when we had an issue at the time of the closing with the condition of the property, she addressed it and arranged a correction with the seller without any delay in the process! Even after the closing, she was very helpful with advice and recommendations for services since we were new to the area and knew no one. We’ve used her services for another purchase and a subsequent sale as well. She always looks out for her clients! Highly recommended!

We signed a listing agreement with Van-Dee Hetherington on 4/11/19 and closed on 6/11/19! We lived out of town and everything was done electronically. It was the easiest real estate transaction we’ve ever experienced. This lady is high-energy and will get the job done for you. Highly recommend her services.

Vandee has helped us with all three of our homes, and we truly couldn’t imagine having anyone else as our realtor! If you’re considering buying or selling a home, we highly recommend her. She is incredibly caring, thoughtful, dedicated, and passionate about what she does. She always goes above and beyond for her clients, and we are so grateful for everything she has done for our family. Thank you, Vandee, for always being there and making each experience so special! We appreciate you more than you know! 🫶🏡

I’ve worked with a Van-Dee for about 10 years now. I met her through a house that she had listed I didn’t really know how the process worked for having a realtor buying a house, All the things and when we were ready to move I contacted her and things went from there. She asked all the questions even the ones I didn’t know the answer to and she helped me walk through those questions to get what I actually wanted. She listens and she’s really, really good at what she does. Not only has she been my realtor, she’s also been my landlord and someone I would consider a friend. She has always gone above and beyond.

I would highly recommend Van-Dee. She was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process of moving from a different area to Elizabeth City, NC. She helped us find land to build on and find a great rental house to live in while our home was being built. She was a pleasure to work with!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Van-Dee! I had already moved out of state to Virginia before my house sold, and she went above and beyond to make the entire process completely stress-free for me.

She handled EVERYTHING. I had a pool in the backyard that needed to be taken down, and she found someone to disassemble it and dispose of it. She coordinated someone to completely clear out and clean the house, handled the staging beautifully, and took care of all the little things that would have been incredibly difficult for me to manage from another state.

I genuinely didn’t have to lift a finger. She kept everything moving, made sure the house looked amazing, and got it sold FAST.

If you’re looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, resourceful, and will truly go the extra mile for you, I cannot recommend her enough. She was absolutely incredible from start to finish, and I’m so grateful I had her handling everything!
